In this volume Trotsky draws the balance sheet of the struggle of the United Opposition bloc with Gregory Zinoviev and Lev Kamenev; calls for resisiting the pressure to capitulate to the Stalin regime; and outlines a course of taking the fight for Bolshevik politics into Communist parties around the world.
