This upcoming issue is full of articles about the struggle against imperialism, and the permanent revolution in Africa.

• Alan Woods’ editorial is focused on the upcoming World Conference of the IMT, and the need for a new Revolutionary Communist International.
• ’50 years since the Ethiopian Revolution’ – The Ethiopian Revolution broke out in February 1974. The first article in this issue, written by Ben Curry, is devoted to this extremely complex process, which contains a number of important theoretical lessons.
• ‘Frantz Fanon’s Wretched of the Earth: a Marxist critique’ – In this article, Jorge Martin provides an explanation of the historical context that gave rise to Fanon’s most famous work.
• ‘The crimes of French imperialism in Cameroon’ – In this article, Jules Legendre gives an account of the ‘forgotten war’ waged by French imperialism in Cameroon in the 1950s and 60s, against the Union of the Peoples of Cameroon.
• ‘Lenin’s draft theses on the colonial question’- In 1920, Lenin submitted a set of draft theses to the Second Congress of the Comintern on the question of the emerging liberation movements that were making themselves felt across the globe.
• ‘Trotsky’s letter to South African revolutionaries’ – We also publish this letter by Leon Trotsky, written in 1934 to a group of revolutionaries who had turned to Trotsky’s Left Opposition.
